Being in a relationship often means biting your tongue. Whether it’s friendship, marriage, child-parent, or family. I’ve always struggled with this, and I always get myself into a larger mess than before. Sometimes letting go and releasing your words can be freeing, lifting weights from your chest. But sometimes it can only add more. Resist the urge to allow ugly thoughts, words, and actions affect your relationships. It’s easy to allow our tongues to speak hurting words, but it’s rewarding to hold them back. This is my biggest flaw but, hopefully one day, will be my biggest accomplishment.
